Thread: Common forum issues Please read if you are having problems.

This is just to help with some of the more commonly posted about problems.
1. Ranks not granting correctly, in some cases people are not getting the correct rank. - status - reported to Lithium
(there are cases where you do not get a rank that was part of the star
system because you had already qualified for it minus the star rank so
you will get the next rank after that where applicable, that is not a
bug)
2. Forum Search is difficult, sometimes diabled and sometimes crazy - status - reported to Lithium with a possible fix in the next software update from them
3. Many FireFox and other non IE browser compatibility issues - status
- known but no plans to fix, Lithium is only 100% compatible with
Internet Explorer, they do try to make improvements for firefox/mozilla
browsers frequently though. IF you cannot post under firefox/mozilla in
the "my profile" section disable wyswyg menu in the preferences.
4. Time outs when browsing. -
status - not a bug, if you are viewing the forums for more than
25 minutes without going to a new page or actually submitting a post
you will have to log in
5. Login not remembering your password and not automatically logging you in - status - part problem part intent, this is being worked on to make it more user friendly.
