Thread: ToOW Pre-Order Question.

I pay to play via global collect on a UK debit card.

Why am I (and many others) being excluded from the pre-order option?

You happily collect our money on a monthly basis via this method. Why can we not pre order this way?

There's has been a lot of talking about this, and as of yet still no solution to us the Global Collect players.


I had a good chat with someone from Tech support, this is waht he said (short version):


We are aware there Global Collect users cannot order the expansion. Whats being done about this? I can't say as no details have been passed my way. Like I said, an announcement of that magnitude would be posted on the forums, the front page and the Station Store.



It seems we will have to wait and keep complaining about it to get SOE's attention on this matter.

Because I still don't see the difference between a Global Collect customer and a Credit Card customer, because we all pay the same amount of money for the same game...


I even sent Tiggs a PM, but I guess she gets 100s of PMs a day, and either dont have the time to read them all or ignores a few

Can you order from the Lucas Arts Store? It doesn't matter if you order through SOE, as long as you preorder, you get all the goodies.

nope, no debit card options there either, unless you know of a uk/europe version of lucas store prehaps? Here's hoping!

Hmmm... it would also seem that someone has posted here the "powers that be" didn't want people to see....

That's an idea, but would it help?


I mean there's a few threads now on the forums about this, I spoke with BillC from tech support, they know about this, but for as far as he knew, nothing is being done about it yet.


I've sent a PM to Tiggs, to get her attention, 3 days now still no answer.


Either we're ignored and they don't wanna change the situation, or the're real busy on working on it so we can pre-order too.


I have my own thoughts on this....



Don't be surprised btw that after the launch of ToOW, we can all order it by Global Collect, we just don't get the pre-order.... which in my opinion and many others like me, is NOT fair.



And the funny thing is, I need 3x ToOW, since I got 3 accounts....

Lucas has a 1-800 # for ordering, try calling them. They may be able to take your order that way.
