I found a Friday Feature from July of last year that showed the number of badges that had been earned on a particular server, namely Bria which is where I play on.

I got to thinking about how interesting little tidbits of information like that is, and was wondering if we could see more data like that in the future. I would be most interested in updated data as it regards badges, especially with the addition of newer badges from the Rage of the Wookiees, the elite hunting badges (ancient krayt, Nightsister Queen, etc.). I think it's interesting to see how many other people have done things that you have done. I remember when the list came out last year and how good I felt at having a badge that only a couple of hundred people had when compared to thousands of people being on the server.

I also found an old Friday Feature with a census of races and thier sexes in the game.

This kind of generic demographic information is really interesting to me, and I would love to see more of it. Perhaps a regularly updated database of information like that. I am sure that some data would not change drastically over time, but you never know.

THere was an old thread from 2003 (I found a more recent one earlier but I seem to have lost the link) where it showed profession data from across all servers.

This to me would be a very interesting thing to be able to keep track of on a regular basis. I am curious to see how the percentages in professions shift with different profession revamps and patches and such. An example would be just after the CU when it seemed like everyone on Bria suddenly became a bounty hunter overnight. Such changes would be an interesting thing to be able to check on month to month.

Now I realize that this stuff is probably not considered as very important to alot of people, but I am sure that there are a few people like myself out there who are curious to know more about this type of information. I also realize that in order to produce an updated forum in which to disperse that information is going to increase someone's workload, and with the new expansion coming up, plus the already heavy workload of SOE, I know not to expect anything on something that is not directly related to anything in game.

But it never hurts to ask...right?
