There are alot of great ideas floating around in the JTL discussion thread that are just being lost because there is no corresponent. Not to mention with no many forums I doubt the devs are able to review a forum that is so easily overlooked.

We do not have or plan on having expansion correspondents. If you need assistance please feel free to visit the profession forum or the Jump to Lightspeed discussion forum.

You may want to change this plan, so that expansions get the attention they need after they launch. We still have many MANY issues with RotW quests that we would love to get fixed and I am begining to feel that a Correspondent is the only way we can get anything done to past expansions. Wouldn't need to be around as long as a profession correspondant and all, maybe just a few months after expansion has been launched.

i brought up this arguement shortly after JTL was released and i was told that the Core Systems Correspondent is responsible for it..

QFE...
Fix the RotW quests!!! How long has that expansion been out now? There has yet to be any dev comment on all the broken things in the last expansion. Why is that so when there are still so many issues?
You say we don't need a correspondant, but there is OBVIOUSLY a communication issue if these bugs still exist for so long. I have nothing but WORRY about this new expansion.

Ya Pilot/Core System/SW corros would have all this under their respective areas. Having been there, I can say that adding another 1 or 20 JTL type corro's would not help at all, just make things worse.....

Though most of it's issues are also appropriate for the pilot forum, I would like to see a JTL board corr. It's been ages since I've seen a correspondent/blue-glowie/dev/admin post in that board. Many good, and doomed to be ignored, ideas are expressed in the board. Plus, as previously mentioned, it would be good PR to continuously support the expansions long after their releases. In fact, why not also add ROTW and TOOW boards too? I see no reason not to bring in new correspondent titles, since they are volunteer positions. If the core-systems corr is resposible for it, then that responsible for that board, then it should be included in the job description.

JTL Correspondent, oh sorry, we already have one of em guys.
He's the Pilot Profession Coresspondent, if there's something wrong in space, with a quest, or about a ship, or have any ideas, he and his forum are the best place to present that.
As far as quests from other expansions, again, refer to the Coresspondents (BH, for bh mission bugs. Pilot for RoTW Space Bugs), and of course, the Mission forum.
They do listen, and they do post and help out alot more then Devs can be.

What good would that do, even if they did? Sony isnt intrested in JTL, they've amply shown this over time by way of neglect.
JTL is synonymous with Pilot, visit the pilot forums and post your suggestions there, thats were most people are.

heh I was just wondering the same things about the Force Sensitive forum. Why no corr? The Jedi correspondent has his hands overflowingly full over on his own board, but he's expected to check in the FS forum. The only thing I've seen from him at all is his stickies, he never shows up otherwise. I guess it's just basically up to those of us whohang out on those boardsa lot to answer all the questions. Although I do think JTL and FS and the others who have no corr should get one
