I couldnt post in the 'in development' forum so I dont know where else to post this. I have been wishing for some time, that SOE would release an instant message client for swg. It would allow you to chat with your friends and check our ingame email without booting up the game. It would use your ingame 'friends' list and look similar to other i/m clients with a swg flair. That way you could keep track of email, vendor sales, priority swg messages and chat with friends or customers to keep up to date and to get your 'fix' until you could get back to playing. It would be great for students on break, at the office or at home when you just dont have time for a full session. It would be an independant client that could be installed on any machine and only require an active accountwith username and password. Wouldnt most everyone love this???? (someone always says no )

I think it's a pretty cool idea. I wouldn't mind having this at all
