The users name is vengence' paragon......He was advertising buff for 10K and i tipped him and then he tells me that he never got the money, but if i want to tip him 10K more he will be happy to help me......
Then when I start yelling he stiffed me he starts buffing others!!!!
How do i get recourse from this individual??????? I am a new player and this sucks that i have very little money and this guy robs me.
Is this how the community in this game is???? I was told that it was differant.

First off, was it a bank or regular tip? If it was a regular tip, he might not have noticed. If it was a bank tip, then you've found one person who you should never try to get a buff from again.

Sorry but the CSRs and such of this game have already said they won't reimburse people from scammers. They have tried to cut down on certain forms of scamming (like having a popup message warning people contents of bags and containers from vendors may not contain what they say they contain). But other than that theres no real way to proove either side is right.

That is not true. all they have to do is check the log and see if the transaction was made or not. If you want to have a record for yourself type /log and turn on chat logging. Make a tab called SysMsgs and have it report only system messages. Any system message will then report on that screen. I do not know if Customer Service will help or not, but if it happens again type /report and then fill out a Customer Service Ticket as well explaining the situation and telling them that you submitted a /report. If it is in the log it should show up. Bear in mind though that the /report command will send them the last 100 lines of the log so don't say anything that would get you in trouble.
I have not had this particular problem but I have found customer service to be helpful (usually). Also, it is possable that you suffered a bug so it would be wise to submit a bug report when it happens, just in case.
Lastly, the Doctor may not have realized that you really did send the tip... there are a few players out there - not most by any means - who will tell Docs they have sent a tip when they have not to try and trick the Doc into giving them a free buff. Most Docs have learned not to give buffs unless they see the tip either in e-mail or in the sysMsg log I mentioned above, because of this. The doctor may have mistakenly assumed you were one of these disreputable players and ignored you as a result.
Sorry it happened, and I hope this helps.
