Not sure this is the right place for this but... Is there any chance we can get these forums set up so they're not specifically designed for IE? I'm tired of having to write up all my posts in HTML just because I don't have a windows computer. I don't know how the lithium software works, but I've seen other forums that have text formatting just fine with firefox/mozilla/galleon/epiphany and a number of other web browsers so I know its possible.

Agreed, if people hadnt noticed Firefox is becoming more and more popular...i dont see why we should have to conform to microsoft software if we wanna get all the posting options

I'm not sure I understand you...
I use Firefox, and the forum working fine to me. Well yes, it could be more easy with a BBCode feature or something, but I don't see why the html-coding is related to IE.

If you use IE you have all the nice convenient text formatting buttons and get to see the post while you're typing it. In firefox, you have to do everything in raw HTML. I know my HTML so its not like its impossible for me, but when I'm trying to write up a nice looking proposal or summary for something it gets a bit tricky. I'd rather not have to hit preview post every time I want to see if its still looking right or have to dig up some obscure html tag to add in some formatting. I'd like to be able to do a quick comparison of colors instead of putting the hex value in and hitting preview, hoping it looks decent.
Yep, I see now, and there is a thread discussing this also...
And now I agree with you, it's an IE related thing, and as a Firefox user I go with you!
However, Garva in another thread stated:
Firefox is not fully supported for lithium features right now so you wont have those options. As far as not able to get them while at work on your browser, its possible that your admin disabled features (by enabling tighter security and helper-application settings)
So we have to live with that. Only for a while, I hope.
I have to wonder why firefox isn't supported... honestly its more compliant with the standards now than IE is. Only thing its missing is active-x, but I'm not sure I'd consider that a downside.
