Thread: I feel like you 'pulled a fast one' over on us pre order people.

So, ya got us good with that one!
Made us think that we would be getting something special with our 'pre-order' BUT you NEVER specificaly said that you wouldn't offer the 'special mount' to anyone that buy's the game.
Anyway, Good one, you got me this time, but you can bet the next time one of your 'pre-order' deals comes around, I'll be MUCH more sceptical.
Sure it's marketing, but Dang it People, Get some Ethics!
ok, it's not that bad for sure, but when I read the add for the pre order, I certainly did think that I was going to be getting that mount especialy due to the fact that I had pre ordered. So, I took the risk and bought the expansion with out waiting for others to say how it was etc etc. Lucky me, it's pretty fun and I really like it. BUT next time you offer some pre-order gimick, you can bet I'll be a bit more carefull previous to buying in to your marketing, 'let the buyer beware' BS.

More evidence of sound planning on SOE's part. 
They certainly understand their market.
I was at Best Buy yesterday walking by the MMORPG section (yes Best Buy has grouped those games together). When I passed by Everquest II and Star Wars Galaxies game sets, I pulled out my flamethrower and tried to torch them. To my surprise they were level 126 and one-hit incapped me. Seems like they were prepared for that.
