Not entirely sure if this is the correct place, but I really feel the need to get this out there and hopefully read.

Why is it that the vast majority of celebration rewards, downtime 'compensation' or other good-will gestures to the community are in the form of some upping of xp multipliers?

I don't mean to soung ungrateful, but it's kind of starting to annoy me. I have a toon that I'm happy with. God bless the original respec. I took the time to decide what I wanted, then respeced to it and but for a minor tweak, have stuck with it.

I like my template, I have no need or desire to change it.

I also have no need or desire to be a Jedi.

Therefore, to me, and I suspect many other players, the carrot of xp is useless.

I can see how it delights those grinding Jedi [to me this also means that we have a problem of becoming Jedi being even easier and thus they are more prolific, but that's another issue ] but as I have said, it does me no good at all.

I have suffered as much as anyone else with server down times and all the other things that have meant these xp increases are offered. Yet I get nothing for it...

Surely there must be something else that can be done. I liked the CU plaques, but I'm weird that way. I'm just getting more and more annoyed that xp seems to be regarded as the panacea for all.

To me it isn't.

I hope one of the powers that be reads this and maybe it will bear fruit.

As I said, just wanted to get this out there...
