Thread: A Simple View
First off, there is NO WAY to balance when trying to balance characters for both PvE and PvP. The problem arises when one tries to do the same things in PvP that is effective in PvE and realizes that either it doesn't work as well or that it works too well and finds ways to exploit its function in groups... the balance will always get messed up when you try to make it balanced from soloing to grouping.. ALWAYS.. that means in every game!
I heard that on test center one Master Rifleman/ Master Doctor/ 3-0-0-0 BH took on 3 full template Jedi with ease. Now yes this is heresay but its enough commentary for me to begin to worry that developers are NOT going and watching closely enough to the effect of their implemented changes. I refuse to let anyone make a mockery of what Jedi meant in Star Wars. I don't care if you got sissy, whiny babies crying nerf Jedi or not. In the movies Jedi were ALWAYS a force to reckon with and for the most part do you see the average "Joe" Rifelman/Doctor/ not even enough BH to count in my eyes.. taking on 3 Jedi and killing them with ease?
DEVs who are you listening to, whose pearls of wisdom is this coming from and do they have something to gain by the changes proposed (when evaluating any change proposed this should be thought upon). Why are you giving the Jedi profession a weaker ground to walk on... you are heading down a path you probably should NOT go cause in the eyes of everyone if you make Jedi to where any profession can kill them one on one.. let alone one on three... think about what that is going to look like to your general public and if you don't think the press will have a hay day with how Star Wars Galaxy game has made a mockery of Jedi please think again!
After hearing the above, please consider this before you implement all these wonderous "ideas of grandjeure" on the Jedi.. go look for yourself at what is going on in the test servers.. watch duels, it will not take very long for you to see what you need to know. Think before you act is what we are all taught... it is much harder to retract what you do once the harm is done in all cases. The appearance you give the public of the game in itself is something that should be of high value and no matter what anyone else says the appearance and high form you give to the Jedi profession will make or break the appearance of this game in the public eye as well sadly![]()
Once again no one listens and a publish gets pushed forward and devistates everyone in its path as usual....
Smuggler... broken
Tailor... broken
BE... broken
CH... broken
Jedi... broken
So many professions people loved to play twisted and tortured into something unrecognizable and you call this balance. Keep holding tight to that falacy perhaps one day it will come true just not in this game and not the direction the game is headed.
You can delete the post but in your heart you know things are really messed up right now in the game. Before it gets too bad someone really needs to step back and not push forward to fix all the existing problems.
*New content is nice for everyone yes but not before previous content gets fixed so everyone can enjoy it just the same! You can only pacify the people for so long with new things but once the new wears off you are back to square one!*
