Thread: What EXACTLY can a CSR do for a person?

ive only filed 2-3 tickets in the 2 years ive been playing SWG, im not one to file tickets for minor problems etc, or bugs that are already known etc
first ticket i cant even recall what it was, was a loong time ago lol
2nd ticket was ive lost my mind and health crystals from the villige quests, there not in my inventory, or in any house or bank...file a ticket on it, get the response that translates to "sorry, your SOL, were not gonna track it down"........its a online game, everything that happens int hie game is recoreded to a databank, at anytime they can go and look through your account and know everysinge thing you've done.....its how they track down who stole items from another toon for example....buit they dont track that down either in SWG
3rd ticket...guy Ninja Looted Necrosis...then refuesed to give up the starfighter deed when he lost the roll for it.....entire group filed tickets on it, and we started a thread on the forums about it.....ticket response was translated to "sorry your SOL we dont interfer with those kinda of transactions", and the thread was deleted from the forums
so other then getting ya unstuck when your stuck on the terrien do to various small bugs, what exactly DOES CSR do? they cant help ya find/replace lost items, they dont get involved with group loot rights issues.....whats the point of CSR if they are not allowed and or given the tool to do anything that 90% of the non "he called me a meaniehead" complaints are?

CSR's can do anything that CSR is willing to do. It's hit or miss, some will very willingly go the extra mile, some start giving you attitude immediately.
Best advice I can give you is delete and resubmit your ticket, and hope that the next one isn't from the Dark Side. I only ticket major issues as well, and sometimes have to go thru 3-4 CSR's before I get one that will do anything.
The bottom line: What you get from any particular CSR varies.
I'd not bother asking for recovered loot or quest items, however. I can't think of anyone who ever had such a thing recovered for them. It sucked that I lost the phase 3 rewards when Bloodfin was rolled back due to sysadmin negligence, but at least the CSR's gave me back the unlock itself, and I was VERY grateful for that.

WORKING AS INTENDED--thats all they know how to say?!All my experiences with them have shown them to be less than useless.BUT filing with the BBB got an answer from them real quick

I can't say as contacting a CSR ever accomplished anything when I've tried. They all just give the run-around.
There are plenty of people whowill swear that if you shove your nose up the CSR's butt, they turn into angels, but really - I go to work and do my job. They should too. A customer shouldn't have to brown-nose their vendor into dealing with their broken product.
