Can't use simple html in a sig? I get an error whenever i try to quote something that says simple html is not allowed. This is retardedness why make things more difficult than they need to be?

The implemented punishment was the worst option to take advantage off. Wouldn't it make sense to indiviudually remove a posters ability to use HTML then to have it affect the forums on a global level? Well, I guess it's easier to punish then it is to reward the players.
"That player /cried and said bad things about my mommy. They had pics of here in their sig and I'm going to make everyone who can post in the forums sorry for that one guy who no one knows fordissrespecting my mother."

Folks, don't sweat it, this isn't a Players' community anyway, as we vets know well, so don't sweat not being able to maintain a presence or personna here, its not the place for that, not conducive to that. This is the only place I know of where 40 years olds are treated like rotten children, and where a business routinely provides far substandards customer relations and communications with its customer base. Shame on us, really, for tolerating it on a sustained basis.

HTML was NOT removed in sigs.
If you get an error that simple html is not allowed, it means you have an error in your coding. Try copying / pasting it to notepad and then back again that sometimes works.
The error that says some illegal HTML was found in your reply is simply a Lithium bug also.
HTML IS allowed in posts. for example this is an html link

And it's easier to just remove the whole damn feature than it is to just fix the bug that caused the problems...

Or they can remove the posters ability to have a signature... I have had one of my accounts had that ability removed because I posted a link to Guild Wars in my signature. I've seen far worse in some people's signature and while it may get edited, they still get a signature to abuse yet again.
That's what I get for playing a game for 2 years.
