Thread: WHERE IS THE FREE SUBSCRIPTION?
You will get your free month after you enter your credit card info (orgame card key). When you cancel within the 30 days, your CC will not be billed. (I'massume this is true for the game card as well.)
One question though:
Does it say on the front of your box: "Valid credit card or paid game card (if available) and additional reccuring fees required to play this game."?
Another question:
How come you're able to post here and not able to play?
This is standard operating procedure of any online game. EQ2, WoW, COH, ect, ect. All of them require you to enter in a credit card/debit card/game card before giving the free month subscription. You can cancel anytime during the 30 day free period and not be billed a cent, but they all require billing information to start playing the game.

ya unfortunitly it is, you always must "buy" time inorder to recieve the free month, atleast you must have a credit card pin, but for those who pay by game cards, they must buy one with the box set, 60 day card than equals a 90 day.
But be warned this game causes severe frustrations, has more in-game bugs than most (excluding other SOE titles) as we all know, has extremley poor customer relations, close to none, and has a ruined "yo-yo" economy, It stats it is player "driven" but atm with the new C.U (combat Upgade) and ROTW (rage of the wookiees) it has been more uber loot driven. due to "balancing" of proffesions. and neglect of other's.
If you choose to go down the dark path and start your adventure in SWG, before warned that thee only proffessions that are of any use are those of combatant nature, for any "special" reward from the ROTW expansion or that of most quests require combat, also every none combat proffesion has been what they call "nerfed" or as i say plain out ruined and po-dunked!
And this is the only game that you can have one "toon" charactor per account on each server till the all "rare" (lmao, took me one month from my first day to reach unlocks) jedi unlock comes, which is or "was" hard till all the kissing butt for the "damnation" of our game, hence the times 2-4 experiance that has been the "new" soe policy.

LOL, I guess that it does take all types to make the world go around. . .
