Thread: Serious Concern over lack of Communication from SOE

I check the forums every day and usually start with a Dev Tracker search. I am seriously concerned about the lack of communication we are receiving from SOE. At the start of the year things seemed to be improving, but post CU things have got steadily worse. On average there seem to be a about 4 posts a day from Red Names (Devs, Tiggs, Thunderheart). Half of these are simple cookie cutter posts for Bugs and Issues for TC and Live publishes. We are getting almost zero information flow from SOE, about anything.
Communication is a two way street - we need to be getting more response and visibility about what is happening with "our" game. Bug fixes, Development plans, Current Issues and priorities, Expansions etc. Why the deafening silence from SOE ?
I, and I imagine, a large section of the player community would like Tiggs and Thunderheart spend a little less time reading posts and instead start posting some meaningful responses and annoucements about what SOE are focussing on bugs wise, issue wise, and development wise.
Please redouble your efforts SOE.

I totally agree with you, it makes me feel sad, if i see, how bad Communication from Devs has become, again.
I know a lot of people, who wants to know, what the Devs plans to do next or just want to see, that their Ideas are seen by the Devs, maybe even makes it inside the Game.
So far, i can only say, about the Community Relations from SOE:

this is because all the people that work there arent even gamers. they are just tech and public relations people.

Welcome to EQ buddy.
These same devs work the same way in EQ. Get used to it.

I think Tiggs and Thunderheart are or at least were gamers - I just find it amazing that there is such a lack of information or response on anything or any issue at the current time. There seems to be no Community Relations going on at the present time. One has to ask why ?

practically NONE.
The cookie-cutter posts are rediculous.
No real information is ever shared.
NO recognition of any known issues.
It really seems as if something really really really MAJOR is going to be announced
-or- this game will just continue to wilt and decay from apathetic managment/devs/csr/PLAYERS
