Thread: Autologin problem: lithiumgw.station.sony.com always down?

It's always been down, last year it was down, now it's still down. Autologin's not working because of this. I'd say maybe a routing problem, but the ping seems to work fine.

There was a few minutes where it was down within the past hour.However its been up the majority of the time.

i am, butjust NAT, no proxy.also i set them up myself (no way to disable them btw, it's a 3-hop wireless connection to an ATM line) and i know pretty much what i'm doing. i've been using both web and ssl/https sites with no problems.


also, last year i was on cable, that was a direct/transparent (no firewall/proxy/whatever) connection. still had the same problem.

I can get a telnet session at work but not at home.BothXP Pro SP2. At home I've got the XP firewall going, behind a router performing NAT. At work they use something else for the firewall.

i think lithiumgw's configuration is picky. maybe they meant do make it more secure but actually made it picky.
