You really can't. If you've been around long enough ("contributer" rank should qualify or not) you could edit the post to basically say "nevermind, please ignore". On a post you made, click the "options" button on the top-right and select "edit message". Your only other option would be to report the thread using the "report abuse to a moderator" and request a lock and/or deletion. I'm not sure if they do that on request, though.

lmao - out of curiosity Ichecked out the thread he is trying the delete.... all I can say is- I don't blame you.
