Thread: webpage woes

Is there a reason why SWG's webpage runs as if it's on a pentium 2 with a 28.8 modem connection? i've been trying to read up on the recent CU documents and so far it's been 15 minutes on the Profession roles overview page without it loading completley.

their main website pages always load slow for me, I even have DSL and it still seems slow.. The cu documents are probaly a little slower because many people are probaly loading them, but still...its still slow. They need to get someone else to host their website..and forums while they're at it

A Galactic Civil War fought not with glowsticks or lightsabers, but with blasters, lances, and how much guts you have. A Galactic Civil War which reflects the timeline, the destruction of the Death Star, the absolute control which the Empire has and the brave Rebels trying to break up that reign... The extinction of all but a few rare and special Jedi. That my friends, is the Galactic Civil War and that is what we have to aim for.

If they used PhpBB they'd be better off. It's also far less ugly than this thing they use.
