Thread: CS Not brought up to date? Which is it?
Tiggs - We are going to be instructing Customer Service to reimburse the X-wing holo for players who started the quest during period when the quest was broken.

Got this response the next day, and while that's quite nice turnaround, it is still absolutely useless to me.

I would inform you that this is a known issue also reported by other players. Our development team is working to fix this issue. Unfortunately, Customer Service has no ETA over the fix of this issue. If you encounter any other in game issues please file a new ticket.
So when will I be able to re-create my ticket asking for my reward? My next ticket will be to get my vanished candles in my chandeliers replaced, as the fix was supposed to turn back on burnt out candles and lamps, but it took too long and they were deleted automatically from my house

If thats the case then why is it in todays patchnotes?

They said 5 days after the original statement they will be patched in... they probly figured CS would be horribly busy going around replaceing every lost holo... the devs shouldn't be expected to inform us of EVERY LAST THING they are doing.

This is most definitely a shining example of communication problems.
The kicker is that, as if CS didn't have enough to do with all the /respec nonsense, they've got people filling out tickets for x-wing holos when a fix is being made to SPECIFICALLY address this problem.
The people running this game are doing nothing but doubling and tripling the work they really need to do - when some simple and basic communication would resolve all of this.
There's really no reason to have the CS ticket database cluttered with stuff that will be patched within a WEEK, I mean come on - use the resources you have effectively...in the time this CSR was dealing with x-wing holos, some poor shlub was probably suspended floating in space somewhere begging for help for an additional 30 minutes.

I get a kick out of how everyone starts throwing negative statements at the devs... when the devs are finally giveing out the damn things. Its been well over a month for some of us... yet most people arent happy, and still moan that they dont have it NOW. You'll get it on thursday... if people cant wait 2 more days.... thats a joke.
I'd appreciate a link to that public statement about it being patched in unless you mean the announcement of the patch from last night. I had seen nothing of it prior to that and as my post count might imply I spend a fair amount of time on the forums.
Of course my statement which you responded to says nothing about being impatient for it to be delivered to me. It states that the way it was handled casues feelings of bad faith towards CS which were uncessessary if they had planned and communicated better.

Do you mean the Holo will be placed in invortory along with the missiong candles? It will be cool to finally get one and see what they look like. If you are going to replace peoples's candles by placeing them in there inventory I have a small problem. Oner of the house that is missing candles is my in game wife's and she has not been since the CU and I would have no way to know if she got the candles to replace the ones that went poof.
