Here's a tip that will allow you to search the forums when lithium starts acting up.

1. Open a second browser window/tab

2. Bring up Google on the second window

3.Type what you want to search, followed by where you want to search(Example: Necrosis site:forums.station.sony.com/swg)

I wouldn't consider this a "fix" but it will allow you to search the forums until they fix their own search feature.
