I much appreciate it as well. It is nice that they listened to us, and realized that what is "right" isn't necessarily "right" but what the players enjoy.
I hope too that this puts this issue to bed. XP in groups is not going to significantly change.

I agree the apology is a good touch, but I still feel something on the edge lurking. A hidden menace that lies in the dark side which only wants to nerf...
But I'll try to keep my thoughts on the present

"After this change hit live, we were presented with a mountain of feedback describing how this change had a major negative impact on your enjoyment of the game. We want to let you know that we hear you and we value your feedback. You were right: we made a mistake on this one and we reversed out the change because of that feedback. We continue to learn from experience and pledge to improve our process for bringing you timely updates to Star Wars Galaxies."
I suppose this is a good gesture as far as it goes. But lets be clear here, it isn't much of an apology and in fact again is contrary to the facts.Stating that they received feedback after the publish hit lives, implies they were somehow suprised by the negative feedback and quickly responded to our concerns. However, the Devs knew full well this patch wasn't going to be well received by the players because there had been immediate, subtantial, and nearly uniform negative feedback on the XP nerf when it hit live. Their knowledge of the negative feedback is confirmed by the fact that they took it off the TC center for internal testing. And didn't dicuss it again until it was just slipped into Pub. 22. With that background and the fact they ommitted (perhaps intentionally, perhaps not)from the patch notes they gave Tiggs, the suggestion that they were suprised is insulting.
While I strongly disagreed with change, the main thing the Devs owe us an apology for is the way thepatch was handled. They owe us an apology for trying to slip one past us. Trick us essentially. For ignoring our feedback on TC once they realized it wasn't what they wanted to hear.
As for apologizing, its like the thief that gets caught red handed. Of course he will say he's sorry if he's got any sense, but it not really much to his credit.

Yes, your apology helped to ease frustrations. Thank you for taking player feedback into consideration during the latest publish... and please excuse the obnoxiuosness of others. Not all Bria players are like that...
