Brekkee - *Anon4881* At this years Fan Fest, a video was shown that strongly hinted at Player Capital Ships. When will more information on these ships be released?
Rogue_5 - The video was a technology test straight from a developer's desk that we decided to share with the Fan Fest attendees. It does not necessarily represent anything we are currently doing with the game.
I recognize that this is standard double-talk used to not get people's hopes up. But would it be possible to just level with us about what's being developed for more than one thing at a time? Yes, Ranger revamp is coming. Yes, smuggler missions are (still) being planned. A light at the end of the tunnel would be nice, though. It could even come on a date that doesn't coincide with a Lucasfilm release.
Brekkee - *Nerfed_Jedi* Since ROTW contained so much Ep3 content/loot, will we be expecting loot and items from Ep3 in this one also? For example, can I expect to find Anakin's legs and arm near the lava pool? Thanks!
SpaceRancor - *Nerfed_jedi* There will be lot of different types of loot to be found on Mustafar. Everything from Relics of the Old Republic to items dating from the Clone Wars. But no limbs...
Anything from post-Episode 3 then? Even if Mustafar hasn't had much going on since the Clone Wars, I can't imagine nothing has changed in 30-something years.
Brekkee - *Corbantis-Callale* Regarding the new ranger revamp, it was mentioned that a "steal" ability would be given to the rangers. Could you elaborate on how this will be implemented in the game? By itself, it doesnt sound very desireable.
Helios - Stealing, at release, will be a PvE mechanic to allow you some extra interaction with humanoid NPCs that you could normally attack. Instead of attacking them straight out, you can try to sneak up on them to relieve them of some extra treasures. Stealing from NPCs will not affect the loot they drop when they are killed. Stealing won't net you anything fabulous all the time, but over time it can provide some extra income.
I recognize the intent behind this addition. However, the idea of stealing something extra from humanoid NPC's before you kill them is just silly. How in the world are you going to steal more money out of a guy's pocket while he's alive than when he's dead? He doesn't get any more money in the process of being killed, so why should you be able to get more by being a pickpocket than by leisurely going through every pocket while the deceased is lying there...well, deceased? Logic fails me.
Brekkee - *Twi* Can we expect any Free content to be added to the game after the expansion and certain profession revamps are finished?
TH - We will continue to keep publishing new stuff with each new publish
Thunderheart - The main thrust of the near future is to reduce the amount of new features and focus on bug fixes...For the next few publishes, we will be doing smaller publishes that focus on bugs and issues.
I am nitpicky, but continue was perhaps the wrong word? Musicians would like a new instrument, btw.

I agree with all your points even the one I am quoting but maybe I can create a roleplay reason for it.
Rangers use bombs to kill people. Items are broken when bombs go off. Steal before the bomb goes off to keep it from being worthless junk.

Good point.
Although, really, I should point out that it is Commandos who should be using bombs to kill people. We've got a whole skill line of explosives, after all.

One of the most iconic parts of the StarWars universe and we're left with just ghostly images to look upon from the ground on every planet and an easy kill for Rebels in Deepspace. ![]()
