This post has to do with issues with Special Edition, Collectors Edition, Digital Download, Preorder, and all that. Each one offers new items specifically for these different SWG packages and personally I feel hurt. I am an active and dedicated SWG customer. I have been playing since day two...I wanted to play day one but none of us anticiapted how big this game was going to be and your browser servers which we used to register our product info got spammed and was down for hours, if you rememeber

Personally I work for a living and I am WILLING to pay say $5.95 or whatever just to have these limited edition items available to me. I was going to buy the collectors edition so I could get the cool goggles and accesorise them with my outfits but even then I couldnt have them on my main character...which I am proud to say Is not going the jedi route and I dont really want him to right now. And then.....the japanese version of SWG has WAY cooler goggles for them see here

So please I petition, I request, I ask, I beg...please....make some sort of service where if the customer wants they cna pay a little extra fee to be able to have these cool new unlocks added to their account and have them usable in the game.

Please discuss this with whoever you need to.

you can buy the special editions and register them as an expansion to gain those items. the only difference is maybe 50$ vs 5$. The players who spent this money orignally would be annoyed to say the least that the "unique and special edition only item" was no longer special if it was added any other way. (Believe me - I am one of them! - I spent 110$ buying the special edition when it first came out so that I would have a limited special edition item only)

I'd like to see these "Goggles" added as Lootable Schematics, that can be crafted with other looted peices to grant special abilities, like "Eyeball Shock Special" / "Vision Hinderence -50 accuracy"

but im Joking, and I don't care for goggles, I gave mine (IMO the best looking set) to my wife, She didn't get the S-E & they look much better on her

Way back near the start they used to be transferable. I'm pretty sure that was fixed, so they weren't, I'm not sure what happened to the ones that were transfered.

Hmmm lucasarts doesnt offer the product for sale anymore, and I dont trust buying one from ebay...even though there are only 4 entries for this. I still stand in saying that these rare collectors edition items should be allowed to be purchased.

Take the original shelf price of SWG CE and subtract the shelf price for SWG Basic and you get your new price for these items. That way we still pay the same amount of money these people who gripe that "they payed such and such" and honestly they still have their little poster and other little non-ingame items that came with it AND not to mention SWG shelf price has dropped bigtime..its like what....$20 now?

I said I am willing to pay for these services....noone is getting jipped...Collectors Edition owners still pay the same amount as we will, SOE makes money, we are all happy.

^_^ it's supposed to (I have heard of people doing it) but I have not seen it. Actually I would see if Thunderheart can find out.
