I like many things about this forum software you are using (lithium or whatever it is) but OH MY GOSH... the "quote post" feature has GOT to be improved. Every time, and I mean every bloody flipping time I use "quote post", even if I don't touch it at all, the forum software inserts code that it then tells me is invalid HTML.
Why the heck is the forum inserting code that it considers invalid? And why does (spaces to prevent evaluation) "< / P >" count as illegal code? And "< div >"? And if so why is it inserting them?
It's one thing if I insert invalid or improperly closed tags (I do that sometimes) into a post, but when I use a board feature to quote a post, the board should not put code that will invalidate its own features!
If you can't do anything about this directly can you at least lean on Lithium to fix it? Yeesh!

If you know some HTML you can switch to the non-WYSIWYG Editor. Plaintext is scary for the faint of heart but it's fast and you can avoid the not allowed tags.
