I have recently started using Mozilla Firefox for my main internet browser because of some pain in the @$$ viruses on my other one. But now, whenever i wish to post anything, it takes me strait to an edit as html page. It does not give me the option to switch back to the graphical editor page, so i cant use any of the special icons and such.
Just wondering if there is some sort of option somewhere im supposed to select or if using firefox screwed me over. Any insight on my problem would be much appreciated.

Firefox can only use the html editor, it doesn't have the option for the graphical editor built in. (It's an IE feature currently.)
I use Firefox myself and overall it's much preferable to internet explorer.

Dumb question, but what exactly is the graphical editor? Is it smileys and such? I use Firefox as well...

Yeah it is. I just dont want to have to completely relearn how to use html just to make my posts look cooler.

You can still use all the icons and whatnot, they all have a corresponding keyword, like :"smileyhappy": minus the quotes is
You can hover the mouse over someone else's icon to see what the keyword is for it. Some icons will also auto-convert from normal text, so like : p (minus the space) is
. Once you get the hang of things in HTML its not really an issue.
IE uses some very non-standard features (and doesn't conform to current w3c HTML standards either)... but since they have something like 92% of the current market share on web browsers that doesn't stop people from developing IE-specific web sites.
