I (and I suspect thousands like me) are fans of the Star Wars universe. We purchase the books, comics, etc, and line up at the cinema's for the latest episode of that grand saga from a galaxy far, far away...

I (and I suspect thousands like me), are also big fans of MMorpg's. In fact, a great many of us have been playing (and paying for) these games for many, manyyears.

I'll cut to the chase. Upon finally activating a decent broadband connection, I went to my local games supplier to get my twitching little hands on this beast called Star Wars Galaxies. At last, I thought, I can play the MMorpg that I've always wanted to play, and meet thousands of other people like me, and enjoy our own grand saga from a galaxy far, far away...

What? No SWG? But there's EQ on the shelf, and what's that? EQII? But where's SWG? What's that you say, Mr Game Supplier? Not availablein this Region?

And there it is... I live in Australia!

After finally getting an Overseas copy, I installed it, andlove it to death. But I've gotnew enemies thataren'tactually considered 'content'. They are named Lag, and Non-friendly Time-zones, and prime-time server shutdowns.

What I'd like to know, is why-oh-why haven't SOEconsidered the fact that there are peoplein this region (Australasia, you know, thatcollection of countries that have a large percentage of games players) that are all Potential Customers of this product!
