Thread: Timing of Patches for European servers

I'm getting increasingly frustrated with the amount of patches that fix seemingly trivial problems.
Can someone please explain to me why european servers have to be patched in the middle of our day and not in the early hours of our morning as per the American servers ?
As a compromise, if SOE must patch the european servers during the day can't these minor fixes be released say once per week instead of 2,3 sometimes 4 times per week ?

There is no way to please the Europeans on this issue. You do realize that SOE used to patch the Euro servers in the early morning, but then people complained that the Americans were getting the new content before they were. So complying with the players' wishes SOE then switched to the current system of patching all servers at the same time, and people are now complaining that the patching occurs in the middle of the day...
What do you guys want!?

No, I didn't know they used to patch the Euro servers at a different time. Hence why I posted on here querying the time of the patching or at least offering a compromise of releasing all their minor bug fixes at once instead of every single day patching in virtually insignificant fixes.
Perhaps the Yanks would be happy to have their daytime scheduled for the next patch ? Thought not.
Odd thing is, thinking about it, if we were all patched the same day and the European servers were done in their early hours, we'd get the patch before the yanks who are 5 hours behind us (generally speaking, allowing for varying timezones)

This is exactly correct. We Europoeans ASKED for this change. Now all you see is us bitching about it. No pleasing us at all I am afraid.
