First of all, I hope that this doesn't come of as a rambling complaint post. That is the LAST thing that I'd want. I'm not pointing fingers. I'm not crying and hoping someone will come and be a shoulder I can cry on. But I've been reading some of the posts, here on the Corbantis forums but mostly in other forums, and I am just shocked and amazed at how paradoxical some players are. This is a post that I made on my Player Association's forums:

"I was, truthfully, in shock. I don't understand how the people playing this great game can be so freaking paradoxical. They shout, scream, whine, complain, and overall b!tch at the CSRs who are just trying to do their part. They shout, scream, whine, complain, and overall b!itch at the correspondents and devs, who are just trying to help and make this game better. However, when a person who has a good reputation in the community, has lots of experience, and is great with people, comes and offers to do something for the benefit of the entire SWG community, they turn their backs as if he was a naked mole rat. I have never seen such a more double-sided group of people as there are at the SWG Forums. I'm not saying that all posters are evil, but it has led me to believe that a great deal of the people who post on SWG are, at least part of the time, jerks.

Now, I think that the CSRs should do a better job with managing the game. They dodge issues and are too strict with people who are trying to help. But they are just doing their company policy, they are just doing what they have to do. I don't think that the community realizes that if the CSRs disappeared or didn't do their job the way they are doing it now, this game would descend into anarchy because it is one of those games where you need a hand to guide over the paths that are possible to take. I was reading a 15-page thread that was simply about bashing CSRs, and I have to admit that I felt sorry for them. What they endure is enough to send most people crying to their mommies (or Emperors) and I really appreciate what they do for the people who blatantly hate them.

This is a pathetic, archaic system we've come to when the people who make this game possible are beat down for every little mistake they made. You think there are a lot of bugs in SWG now? Imagine how bad it would be if every Dev, and every CSR, quit because of the players not appreciating the work that they do. The game would be overrun with lag and mistakes. Can't we simply THANK those who work to try to fix this game instead of putting up our defenses whenever something wrong happens?

We, as players, need to respect the CSRs who actually LISTEN (most of the time) to the suggestions we submit. I am sure that the system works because when I had a bug with my Inventory, I submitted a ticket and the next day the problem was fixed. We need to respect the people who make this game possible."

/salute to the CSRs, Devs, and the whole SOE-SWG Team, because there are some of us out here who appreciate all that you do.

I must respectfully disagree with you. Just look at all the CU daily threads, the only dev posts in those is the starting post of the whole thread.
