I feel as though SOE just doesn't care, although all of us pay our 15 dollars a month for content which we enjoy they are making SWG into something it was never meant to be, a clone of WOW, Why is it that when I see the little circle with level 80 in it I remember the same thing in WOW, same goes for the color toolbar icons, SWG had a unique design to it with the HAM system and the warm up cool down system is ridiculous, I mean if your boxing someone and their weak spot is their chin are you going to suddenly punch them in the foot because you have to cool down from your previous hit? I don't think so. I am not only saddened by the time and effort that I have spent getting my character to a level which I like, but I also worry about the employees of SOE, what will happen when so many people cancel their accounts and they are laid off? I wonder if SOE thinks that most people only have 1 account or what, seriously though most people I play with have 4 accounts, so if you look at the revenue loss it is substantial. I have one question for you SOE, has George Lucas seen the CU, has he personally approved it? or does he even care what goes on? Don't end SWG like Episode III will end the Star Wars saga, allow us the opportunity to play and have fun. The customer is always right and if the majority doesn't like it and threatens to cancel most companies try their absolute best to fix it.
The truth is there are many more MMORPG's out there that are programmed in actual 3D with 3D graphics, not programmed in 2D with 3D graphics, notice from a certain angle how the lightsaber is flat? Maybe the first programmers didn't know how to program in 3D properly but that doesn't mean you can't hire some really good programmers to fix it. Invest some more time into it with more experienced programmers and i'm sure the majority will like the result, don't completely revamp everything, just give it a tweak.
