I wrote a letter to SOE. Emailed it to Three different places. The email responses were all generic copy and pasted ones even though the letter specifically requested a written response to answer my points and complaints. One of the three pasted responses was an EVERQUEST reply. Not even SWG.
This is NOT customer service. For this reason and many others, I posted in Tiggs thread asking about "would you recommend SWG" Now im posting it here because I feel its a community relations problem that should be raised.
Here is what ive written:
Trying to silence peoples opinions of your upgrade, deleting posts, banning, disregarding, ignoring and denying. SOE have done nothing to show that they care about our opinions. They are about to roll out a major update which effects thousands of people. Some have played this game with dedication since it was released, through thick and thin. SOE have given no regard for how they feel the changes will effect them or even offered replies to their queries, complaints and comments.
If indeed SOE dont appologise to the community for their behavour of late then I feel not only would i not recommend SWG, I would never purchase another SOE game. To show the community that you care so little for customer support and expect us to support you in this and future endeavours is asking too much. What is to stop SOE doing the same again in future games?
Every company I have ever dealt with has had customer services to answer queries and complaints in a professional manner. SOE has not only not done so professionally but infact have not answered at all. Emailed complaints get a generic reply that has been copy and pasted, which does not even answer any questions in the letter of complaint. Forum complaints and deleted with the users accounts being banned.
So no, I will not recommend SWG or ANY game made by SOE until you repair the damage this escapade has caused to your reputation.
In addition to the above without any support from the community SOE have severely changed the crafting in SWG. To an extent all the hard work and credits poured into their loved profession has been wasted by the crafters. No explanation given, no opinion noted or replied to.
It has become obvious that the game has been changed to be suited for console gamers and new gamers but blatantly doing that at the cost of your veteran, dedicated, loyal players is disgusting.

/agree if there is one thing sony doesn't have it's a relationship with there customers here in swg,and will they or do they care probly not from what i have seen after almost 2 yrs of playing.there customer service is almost as big of a joke as the up comming cu.

They DONT care. As long as we keep giving them money.
What we need to do is STOP GIVING THEM MONEY. Everyone should cancel their accounts, even for just one month. They'd have no choice but to give in if that happened.
