I don't know how to clickify it either I am afraid. Haven't even attempted html code in many many years.

I am editing this to note that this is not an attempt to incite but only to inform of a route to help with grievances. This post is to assist swg members and not in any way to disrupt business with SOE nor is it intended to cause any difficulties within these forums therefore I am taking a screenshot of the final post that I may provide proof to the better business bureau in case that I feel a need to lodge a complaint myself. I too have had many problems with service other than the combat upgrade.

The BBB isn't a consumer rights organization. They take complaints against non members and whitewash their memnbers. SOE joined the BBB after an earlier batch of complaints filed against them.

If you think you have a valid complaint, such as consumer fraud, I suggest forwarding evidence to your state Attorney General's office.

Apathy is not fraud, I am not claiming fraud. I am concerned with the total lack of customer care in many situations. I am concerned about "i am sorry but I cannot help with that" messages in csr reports. I am concerned with the fact that as customers we have no recourse other than these boards which are totally controlled by SOE. I am concerned that so far little that is not positive to soe and the combat upgrade appears to be deleted and members banned. This is a community relations section and I do not see much in the way of community relations occuring. Consistently what I see is we state a problem and it gets plowed under or gets a virtual round to the back of the head. I actually have tried very hard to be polite, informative and accurate in all my posts. I have admitted to not having all of the information which without the assistance of soe's representatives is almost impossible to achieve. As such and despite my efforts I fully expect that my posts will be removed and I may possibly be banished. I have once again read the TOS and the forum standards to ensure that I am not and have never overstepped my bounds. I was always reserved about the CU and have always said to wait until beta at least and preferably until it went live to make any cancellation decisions. I will be doing so and not only because I still have several months remaining on my account.

I cannot make an informed decision without information, that information is not forthcoming. I cannot also make an informed decision based on beta alone. I can however make an educated judgement based upon what I can see in the beta servers to which I have access. Since I have been vocal the past couple of days I suspect that I will never see the true beta and will have to wait until release to see what we as a group are in for.

While I am sympathtic, keep in mind the Devs perma banned a Radiant member for filing a complaint with the BBB. They made up a trumped up charge about a year old post, but it was obvious that they were banning him for contacting the BBB. So if you are going to go that route, just keept that risk in mind.

There are couple of things you can do though:

1. Write reviews of SWG on various game sites regarding the CU.
2. Contact gaming media regading the player discontent.
3. Contact Lucas Art's directly so that they get unfiltered information. The PR department is as good as any to contact.
4. Vote on the poll about the CU at the SWG section of stratics.
5. Sign the swgetition.com its up to about 4000 signatures.

If you contact any third party orgnaization, I suggest that you:

1. Be completeltly truthful. Don't exagerate.
2. Be polite.
3. Keep the email as short as possible while still conveying the message.

I appreciate that information, I have not made any decisions as far as the BBB as of yet since I am giving SOE a chance to respond. Just as I have rights, so does SOE and I wish to give them every opportunity.
