It's been what seems like forever since a patch, more than 2 weeks now (and that one was a month after the last major patch), nothing, not even on TC.

This is really disturbing to me given the numerous major and minor balance and bug issues that are a consequence of the CU that are still outstanding, and no word as to what (if anything) is beind done, and when we will see something!

I'd like to see the pace of releases pick up to the speed we saw near the CU.

At least on TC. That's what it's for. Put it there so we can help test it.

Please convey to the Devs, Tiggs, that we'd like to see more.

I agree... What in the world is going on with Development and bug squashing???

I'm just speculating but either fan fest took more time out than we thought or there is a fairly nasty problem in the new patch and they aren't ready to release it to TC yet (while they do give us very buggy stuff there isn't a point giving it to us if it will constantly crash the server, they can test that on an internal cluster).

QA are still running around digging into things so it is just a matter of time.

It would be nice to at least know if that was the case wouldn't it?

Is it really going to hurt SOE's image if they post they are working on critical problems with Publish 18 or whatever...

Total lack of community involvement is my concern.

It is disturbing that on the one hand they will withold releases from the community to test, then the producer will go to the press (not to these forums and post an announcement) that they pushed the CU live early because the community wasn't involved enough.

If they want community involvement, they have to give the community something to be involved IN.

I doubt major bugs (unless it was an insta server crash bug) would prevent a planned release. They haven't in the past, unfortunately.

We need at MINIMUM a weekly "status report" of what the Devs are working on, and in general what the next couple patches are going to do.

I hope so, but it'd take Tiggs, what, 2 minutes to get on here and post something general as to that being the case...

This is what we need more of from community relations. We need to be kept in the loop a lot more than we have been.

I do hope this next patch is major, and comes soon (before mid June). It needs to be major in that it contains revamps for CU balance issues and bug fixes, not major as in Pub 17 which added a lot of stuff unrelated to CU balance and bug issues.

Can you give us some details?

I would say the Star Destroyer/Corvette video was a small show of what they are working on. Something like that is going to need alot of work.
