Thread: Can SOE take off that stupid video from front page?

I thouhgt they were gonna fix that stupid video, No body wants to see that crap its so annoying everytime I come to the website to have that video playing. Can you atleast put a stop button or something so it doesnt play on repeat?

>Pause, or Stop

>No more stupid video unless you refresh

Me too. Ever since they removed my mug from the frontpage and put in those awful videos, I avoid it like the plague.

Well the video features a lot of features not available in the game. (2 unplayable races presented as playale for example)

It's also rather rude to have audio/video AUTOMATICALLY start on a webpage. I like to go there sometimes at work, and well, I can't, because I don't exactly want the boss knowing...

Did any of you read that you can STOP the video..enough already!



I support removing combat classes if keeping them in results in a "dumbed down" game

The point is that people might now want to waste their bandwidth to download it in the first place. And when you have to stop it it still starts and plays very short.

By the way: If you use firefox install the Adbock extension. It allows you to block that kind of media or just http://movies.station.sony.com:7000/patch/web/swg/swg_small.wmv
