Thread: What is wrong with the Fan Club/Boards registration???

The thing won't work at all. I fill out all the info, click on 'Accept TOS' and get sent to an "error 404 page not found" site. I have multiple accounts that I want to register and can't get any ofit done. This is holding me up for ToW beta sign up and anything else I want to do on the boards. Other people are posting about it and having the same problems. This problem has been going on since I tried to sign up when ToW beta registration started. I've ran into it before trying to register a second account but figured it was a general error at the time and as it wasn't critical I let it go.


Things I've done to get around this are:



Turned off both my firewall and anti-virus.

Installed and tried mozilla Firefox.

Checked for any IE updates.

Made sure my desiredforum name was not in use.

Checked my system for any other problems


and finally reinstalled windows XP, for different reasons, and repeated the same steps above with the same result.


Currently running XP Pro and IE version 6.0.2900 and Mozilla Firefox 1.0.7



Does anyone have a fix for this?




If you're having the same problem post here and keep this bumped if you could so it gets some attention and is resolved.

Many thanks garva that worked. Lol after trying for 2 weeks it kinda felt odd with it going right through and all on the first try
