GarVa (or other Official Person),

There've been a number of times recently when I've wanted to be able to refer forum readers to the set of Astromech Stats essays, or to a particular essay. But because the list of AS essays isn't on the SWG home page, I've always had to root around in old messages to find one with the appropriate links.

Would it be possible to add the Astromech Stats list page (at http://starwarsgalaxies.station.sony.com/content.jsp?page=Astromech%20Stats) to the "Updates" category (just below Friday Features) on thevertical navigation bar on the left side of the home page? This would make it a lot easier for subscribers to find this information.

Also, the two most recent Astromech Stats (the "Census" Friday Feature of June 24, 2005 and the "Profession Popularity" Friday Feature of August 19, 2005) don't seem to have links on the main Astromech Stats page -- could links to these essays be added, please?

The two links are:

Friday Feature: Astromech Stats -- Census (June 24, 2005)

http://starwarsgalaxies.station.sony.com/content.jsp?page=Friday%20Feature:%20Astromech%20Stats%20-%20Census

Friday Feature: Astromech Stats -- Profession Popularity (August 19, 2005)

http://starwarsgalaxies.station.sony.com/content.jsp?page=Friday%20Feature%20-%20Profession%20Popularity

Thanks!

Thanks for letting us know. The Astromechs can be found on the Friday Feature index link but we will get the Astromechs page updated as well.

What are the chances of getting more stat's? I remember seeing a thread not long after Player cities came out, listing the first Cities on each galaxy.

I always wanted to know who the first master pilots on each server were. I might be one of them

Need help with a quest? Check out these Guides .

If you can't find the quest in the guides, PM me and I'll create one for you.

Any chances that you create some kind of system that automatically update those stats every month or something? It would be a nice feature, don't you think?

Hmmm, disclosure, interesting. One can only hope that the stats are actually informative. As I recall, the last time we published stats, they were obscure and didn't really qualify the stats represented, something to do with player races as I recall, and I don't see it on the stat page to review again. If I had to guess as to what the problem was, it was probably that the stats didn't qualify whether they were active players, versus all accounts on the database, or similar qualifiers that would give us insights to the actual state of the game.

i thought the OP meant adding Visibility to the Astromech Stats....like the top 10 visible Jedi per server or something

If I'd meant that, I would definitely have used different phrasing. Sorry for the confusion!

But now that you mention it... hmm.Why not?How about somethinglike an "Imperial Ten Most Wanted" list -- they could putthe faces of the Jedicharacters up in every starport.

Not only would this give these Jedi something to do (i.e., run for their lives), it might stimulate more business for Image Designers. On the one hand, you'd have Jedi wanting to look like someone else, and on the other hand you'd have people wanting to look just like a Jedi for the notoriety and excitement.

I like.
