I was wondering if Hurricane victims of Katrina and Rita that play Star Wars: Galaxiescould getan invite to ToOW Beta.

While your idea is not in the wrong spirit, if they are victims of the
hurricanes then they are likely not able to play SWG (which is why we
did the suspended billing and maintenance) and would not be able to
participate in the beta.

I understand that. But, there are those that have gone home, picked up what they have, and started again. For instance, I evacuated last wednesday. I returned Sunday night after fighting 10-hour traffic. I unpacked the car, cleaned the house up a bit, and went to to bed. I awoke cleaning up around getting back to life. I thought it would be a neat treat for the evacuees if when they return like me and can play they would have an invitiation to enjoy their gameplay.

While you may technically be an "evacuee," the fact that you even had a place to return to and apparently still have access to a working computer tells me that you are simply trying to capitalize on the misfortune of those who are still trying to salvage stuff out of their houses, who are the real victims of those 2 hurricanes IMHO. I would like to think you had those people in mind when you made this thread but somehow I doubt it.

I don't care if I get an invite because I was declared an evacuee by the state. You may say that I do caresince I wrote this general scheme up, but the whole idea put fourth by me was to give hope to those that had a place tp rebuild, had/will some means of communication, via internet, and have/will started to rebuild. Yes, many people have gone back...started over. I don't know how many evacuees that were in "Ground Zero" that play this tittlebut if there are some I thought they would enjoy something. Other than suffering and misfortune. I know for a fact, knowing that you don't have a home, what condition it may be in, that your money is draining fast because of food, supplies, and shelter isn't a fun thing and emotions play the worst part in the role. My idea has been answered by a developer/SOE employee thus I must take that answer no further with question. SOE is a great company with great motives and staff. Again, it was just an idea.
