Thread: Unhappy that this major bug is still not resolved....
I would recommend:
1) save your profiles folder in a different directory
2) uninstall SWG and delete the folder. Reboot the system to insure everything is cleared out.
3) Go the website of your Vid card and get the newest drivers.
4) Install those new drivers.
5) Reinstall SWG
6) Move the profiles folder you saved back into the new installation.
7) Run SWG and do a full scan
8) See if the problem is fixed.
If that doesn't work, then the problem either is in the profiles folder (which doesn't make much if any sense), or its on SOE's end. Untill you do that, you really can't say that it is all SOE's fault. We are responsible for maintaining our own PCs and to do what is required on our end to keep things running as well.
It may have been around for a while but many people have fixed it just that way.
