Ok now we have house pack up,

IMO there needs to be a way for a mayor to do something about houses placed by players that bought the game, played till there first 30 days ran out and left never to be seen again.

I sugest that a viable option would be that a mayor would be given the option of "Taging" a house that belongs to a player no one sees when it is "tagged" a timer starts 30 days? 60 days? after which time the house is auto packed into the owners data pad, this way if they have an issue that does not allow them to be on they dont loose there stuff at the same time it clears out all the houses one sees all over the place that no one ever goes to as they belong to a toon who no longer plays the game.

I know at least 5 mayors on my server that have citys full of houses that were placed by either A. people that got the game, played for a month, decided to move on or B. people that came on power grinded to the top got bored, As they were only interested in power grinding they never really had an interest in interaction and tended not to care where they plopped there houses and now these very same houses are more of a annoyance then anything usefull to any city.

I think this would also encourage more mayors to seek active players to build there citys with instead of just throwing anyone in there knowing that weither they keep playing or not does not matter as there house will be there a very long time and hence there citizen ship will continue to support the city (happens more then you think).

An auto pack would after a certain time of no log on would clean this up yet players that suddenly had real life issues that prevented them from playing can still log back on and have there houses and all items in them available not deleted just needing to be placed.

This is one of the top issues for Politicians. There was supposed to be a Character Purge in October 2004, but it kept getting pushed back and never happened. Theoretically the house pack up is a system that was supposed to come from the structure purge (according to a forum at this year's Fan Fest), but we've gotten that first and still no structure purge.
