Thread: Having no luck getting this answered....officially

just did phase # Capt. Sarguillo quest "Capture the Commander"
I dropped the shields and my partner captured th enemy. My journal lists the following:
1: Capture the enemy commander (with a completed check)
2: subheading "Kill 5 enemy troops" (completed check)
3: subheading "Quest complete" (with acomplete check mark

BUT then i have another subheading "Ensure cpature of enemy commander" or soemthign liek that WITH NO CHECK, and my journal shows it as incomplete.
Is this part incomplete because i dropped the shields, but my partner captured the commander? or am i bugged and stuck in the middle of this quest? Any attempt for me to capture the commander(if i re-group)results either in a "you dont have the authority to capture the commander" or if i try to solo the base, i can no longer even lower the shields " You dont have the skill to use this remote" I can also no longer turn in data disc to the CApt.
So, am I finished for now, or am i screwed up? If i want the other checkmark for capturing the commander, do i have to wait until next phase 3?

a CSR responded to my ticket...
Was told she cant help, its abug so fiel ANOTHER ticket.
Wow!! that helps Another ticket you can ignore!!!
She is saying itsa bug, but others are saying its ok!! Which is it?
No one, CSR's, DEVS< red-namers..can get on the same page....
It sad..i've put up with crap for 2 years, and i have 1 problem i am finally seeking assistance with and I get dealt this run-around crap....
Cancellation may not be far behind for me, either

THank You for yoru response..between you and Bacciaca I have soem good help..
Almost none from a DEv/CSR, when all I neded was an answer like this..
....does that mean no one doing the first time has a completed quest log?

this is expected result if you did this with a partner correct. Ifyou did with a partner you only can ever complete 1 side of the mission so the other side stays incomplete forever. You have finished your section so you will have the unlock. move on ^_^

This has been observed since the launch of the village and has no effect other then to leave a partial quest in your journal (the leaving of the message about the quest is the bug)

if you solo the mission you get both tags marked off
if you group (and get the better reward) you only get 1 of the 2 marked off
