Thread: WHAT IS GOING ON WITH SERVERS (AND SERVICE?)

Have one toon lost connection in Keren - Flurry Server, another toon is still OK in other region of Naboo. Thedisconnected toon getting "Server Loading" message... cannot connect.

Chat channel full of peeps with same issue across many servers.

Go to Chat Channel and there's a banner says, seriously, "Please do not use the ship until the terminals are fixed or use them at properly working termials."(misspelling quoted)

First of all, regarding the Banner content: What ship? What terminals? Where? Space station or JTL terminals? Any particular ones or particular planets, or particular details? What kind of banner is this?

I pointed this out to CSR-SamT, after the following questions were met with *(@$#%*Y@$(%, and he answers with "Space Terminals." OK, back to square one.... Space station or JTL terminals? What terminals? Where? Any particular ones or particular planets, or particular details?

When people mention the problem with servers, CSR-SamT says, "All servers are up."

When others say they lost connection and can't rejoin, CSR-SamT says, "Read the banner."

He also says, "Have you filed a ticket." As if we can get ingame to file a ticket.

What is going on with servers that people are selectively losing connections, and getting "Loading" and "Server is reloading, please wait..." indicators? And what is with CSR's being unavailable and unable to do anything about service/server failures? It's as if they're in an igloo in Alaska, with an internet chat terminal and not other communications, knowledge, or skills.

After taking a new toon thru Legacy to level 64, and another CL80 to CL90, I've concluded that this game is bereft of value, and no MMORPG can survive so many role and economic devestations.

CSR KevinVjoins the chat and when asked about what's happening, he says, "no ETA."

ETA for what? Does that mean they can see a problem on some terminal and are aware of it? Is there anyone aware of it that can take any action? Is someone working on it but can't give an ETA?

What is with these people's lack of ability to form fulland complete sentences, and provide valued information?

He ignores the subject thereafter.

Prized service.

*sounds of crickets*

Other than, "Information has been passed on," says Tiggs.

Bravo on the informative follow up.

Out of curiosity, just how bad does it need to be before SOE/SWG considers it rollback-able?

They simply don't care. My efforts at trying to get information about this bug have been met with deleted or locked threads and threats of a forum ban...

Happened again last night. Had 3 guildmates of a pre-publish24 flourishing guild online last night - the rest of our once-SWG guildmembers parked in another game.

Two of them lost connection and could not reconnect, "Loading..." status, "server loading, please wait..."

20 minutes later, they could mysteriously log in again. All the while, I was in game with the other member, and we did not lose connection.

Something is broken.
