Thread: Broken promise no global collect for ToOW

Well the Pre-Order time of Trials of Obi-Wan ends today - So i went to https://store.station.sony.comand clicked on Star Wars Galaxies to see if there is now the promised Global Collect option available.
Well i couldnt test this because the site is not available atm. it doesnt load completely. So atm noone is able to purchase any SWG products. Well i thought okay maybe they are updating it to make global collect available. To verify this and to report the broken link i contacted the CSRs DustinM and PaulS both could verify the broken website but werent able to give me any informations regarding the global collect questions.
So i consulted the Tech Support.
and there TSR Johnny W. stated that. even after the preorder is over - i will need a credit card to purchase ToOW. And that there are no informations that this will be EVER changed.
If i remeber correctly Tigg or TH stated before the launch of the ToOW Preorder that we will be able to purchase via global collect - So one is wrong here - is it Account and billing or the PR devs ?.
EXPLAIN PLEASE

It is currently in the process of being switched over from pre-order to order status. Give it a little bit.

this expansion was full of broken promises...including that you can claim your pre order gifts seperatly from vet rewards...

Nah, it is the Austin version!I left the Joisey version back home =P

no i dont think you get the skiff.
Tiggs how come the pre order wasnt global collect. Just seems a little unfair to people without credit cards.

Yip ain't from Austin Tiggs and you know it. Yep, and maybe Yup, depending on which side of Austin (east or west). But I ain't ever hear any Austinite or any dang Texan EVER say Yip! Maybe if they were a refugee from Borneo or somthing.
Speaking of which, when are we gonna have a Fan Fest in our neck of the woods so we can show these guys some true southern hospitality and maybe some BBQ at the Luau instead of that tofu organic junk like we had in Anaheim?
