Question: Will those of us that purchased the expansion prior to the announcement of the changes of this game be eligible for a refund?

I realize that your TOS states that "Game play may change over time" or something of the like, however, it has been maintained that these bait and switch tactics do not hold up in court. Contracts, like the TOS, are considered null and void when the company seeks to purposely decieve the customer for profit in many states. It would seem readily apparent that SOE chose to bring out these new, unwanted changes the day after the preorder ppl were charged on their credit cards, in an effort to maximize the amount of money pulled from those currently playing the game (before they decide to quit or not). This afforementioned business practice is unethical, and borders on actionable deception of the consumer.

So, like I said, are we going to be eligible for a refund on the expansion?

I actually PM'd tiggs about this, and she has yet to even read it. So I pm'd it to brenlo (SOE director of global community relations hah), and although he read it (or just deleted it?), he never answered, maybe I worded it a bit harshly >

Either way, id like to know what SOE have planned for this - they cant leave it as is, someone posted a great response quoting texas law which clearly prohibits this and makes all eula's null and void in this situation.

But, we'll just have to see what SOE does I guess.

This question needs to be answered. If SOE doesn't come up with an answer and announce it soon, i'm sure some class-action lawyer will. This tactic is unacceptable.
