I second that. Kinda' sneaky to suck us in to paying for an expansion when all along the whole shabang was changing. This is really poor marketing and customer relations. Don't get me wrong... I'll stay and try it out... but I don't have high hopes. 19 months of my life gone and i'm still not done FS grinding. Well, I loved Weaponsmith while it lasted.

I would like that information as well
Might change the thread title to request for information on expansion refunds
They have no legs to stand on for this issue. They redefined deceptive marketing here

I unfortunatly purchased ToOW in good faith. My character is a Master Creature handler, so I think that gives me some cause to regret shelling out the cash as I did.
I have already called and asked Customer Service about a refund and was told they won't do it. They have already collected my money so a card disput is not possible and now I am curious about how I can get it refunded. There must be some way here, since this wasn't what I thought I was buying.

Who can I contact to get a refund?
Considering the sudden, surprise, (and for me as a MCH, heartbreaking) changes coming, I think someone at SOE, should have been bright enough to prepare for the backlash this was going to cause, and have something in place to handle such requests after all.
Had I of known they would sell me something and then turn around and make it redundant in less then 15 days, I surely never would have bothered purchasing. Then again, I have never seen such a thing before and it's left me feeling rather abused and taken advantage of.
So again, who can I contact that will refund the money on an expansion less then a week old and already useless?

Talk to your credit card company. You can dispute any charge weather it has already been run or not.

Some credit cards have a policy where if you buy a defective product, you are insured against it. If you felt that you were misled... which could possibly mean you bought a defective product, well maybe something can be worked out. Dont count one bit on SOE giving your money back.
Unexpected this is, and Unfortunate
