As some of you know Tiggs and I haven't seen eye to eye in the past but I must say that she was amazing through the difficulties with the publish today. I know it may not seem like much to some but I say that it is a huge step forward that she was in the login chat pretty much all day long responding to questions and problems. To those of you who took advantage of the opportunity to attack her, it is truly a shame. It appears to me to be a rare thing that she comes out and speaks with us at all but when she does please treat her with respect and dignity and she will most likely do it again. Think of it this way, if you were to get slapped every time you opened your front door I dont think you would go through that door. Give her credit for being a credit to SOE on this occasion and please allow the opportunity to follow up on the excellent communication with us today.

That's great that Tiggs took the time to do that.

It would be nice if they also took the time to post in the forums more frequently, to update the main website (the "In Dev" area talks about the upcoming alpha test for the CU), put out a new manual (since it is a different, new game), and update the FAQs and holocron which are hopelessly outdated.

Doing 1 thing good for 1 day does not excuse all of their past sins. When SOE can follow-through on their committments consistently, then I, as a paying customer, will thank them. Right now, I feel as the portion of my monthly fees going to CS and Community Relations is wasted.

Baby steps my friend, baby steps.

Devs, including and especially tiggs are under heavy attack whenever they appear. Perhaps a dose of kindness instead of a newspaper on the nose will make a difference. I would love to not hate the customer service and personally if we can coax them out to speak with us perhaps it will make a difference.

I've been through "baby steps" too many times in the last 2 years with this game. Foole me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.

I'm waiting for consistency. And good consistency, not what they're used to giving. So until then, I'll reserve my thanks. I hold the newspaper too, though, until I see if these baby steps work out.

SOE isapparently devoid of any real world IT knowledge. I know this is a game but please consider this, would a Fortune 500 company allow their servers to be down during prime login time without any clue as to when there system would return? Yes, and when the situation was resolved ... everyone involved in the update would be given their walking papers. It is inexcusable.

Having my entire play time lost due to never-to-be-explained"dificulties" with a system update, is poor at best. The DEVs should be testing the update before they go live. No all I get to hear is 'sorrry for any inconvenience.' This is a meaningless platitude that SOE has proven not to be able to apologize for appropriatly.

Tiggs is the unfortunate fodder SOE is placing in front of the guns of unhappy patrons. I bear her no ill will.

The entire East Coast has lost a day of enjoyment because SOE DEVs are ill equiped to assess and fix issues they should be fully aware of before new publishes go to Live Servers.

I saw no posts from 5PM eastern until more than 30 minutes after her last posted ETA for the servers to be up?

As for their technical side of the house, I seriously doubt their server farm and systems operations procedures would meet ISO-9000 standards, having come from a place that religiously stuck to them in the QA department I worked in (IBM).

In the past month, the game has become a total letdown. Extended downtimes. Bugged stuff everywhere. Inbalances and exploits galore. NO communication.

I wonder why any of us are left? Do we love Star Wars this much? I want to play a Star Wars MMO. But I can't right now because the people who are running it can't get their act together, because YET AGAIN they decided to push an undready publish to the live servers.
