Can we get the people that don't pay to play this game off the forums? I have no problem with them coming and looking but if they don't pay to play this game they shouldn't be able to post anything. They have nothing to contribute to the forums or the game. All you see most of them doing is bashing the game and making fun of new players that need help. Please make it like it used to be, you pay for the game and you can post, otherwise you can just see. Please! Thanks.

I agree as well. With the new rules in effect, by restircting account holders to post - this should help clean up the mess and disruptive behavior that occurs on a regular basis.

Did I miss an announcement? As far as I know you already have to be apaying customer to be able to post. If this rule has changed then please point me to the webpagewhere this is announced.

You do have to be a paying customer to post already, many of those people that say "I quit but I still have access" are fibbing a lil because in every case we checked, they still had an active account. There may be a few exceptions but as a general rule, if they are posting they have an active account. Active account does not mean that they have not canceled, you could still access the forums (and game) for up to 6 months after you canceled depending on the subscription you chose.

Thanks for the response. Sorry, I'm just tired of the bashing of the game and these people saying they don't even play. Its probablylike you said they are fibbing. Don't get me wrong I havepoked fun of the bugs but its all in good fun for me. I know the Devs do not have an easy job and I would not want to be in their shoes these days or maybe I would. Anyways thanks for the update.

From what I've heard (I haven't confirmed this with anyone, though), if you have the "Save Password" box checked when you log in (and it actually does save your password), you can still post from a cancelled acount.

That is only what I have heard though, and it may or may not be true.

True but not for 3 months like some of these people claim It does remember you for a while but it will stop working after a couple of weeks.

Hey Garva,

At one point we were told that you would have to have an active account to even view the SWG forums. It was many months ago, perhaps over a year. This currently isn't the case for me. I can view the forums whether or not I am logged in. Don't get me wrong I am not complaining about the current situation. Actually it doesn't really matter to me either way, but I was wondering what the background was on the decision to either abandon that policy or to not implement it (which ever was the case). I don't remember if you guys ever wentforward with that or not. I do remember SOE catching some flak about it though, of course that's nothing new.

Thanks for any response.
