When will you address the many issues brought about by the poor and unwantedimplementation of the CU?

Why does there have to be such poor comunication between the people at SOE and the people who love, or rather use to love this game?

What is SOE opinion about the poor showing the CU and SOE treatment of its customersis recieving in the media?

How long will you continue to ignore your paying customers?

First off let me say that SWG has been the utmost and best gaming experience I have ever encountered. Since I began playing, and playing a lot, I have been able to truly live out some of my Star Wars fantasies. Last week on a local radio station the D.J's were discussing the obsession and total addiction of a person who has been camping outside a theater here in Los Angeles for over two months waiting for Star Wars EP III. When my wife heard this she felt compelled to call in. She told the D.J's that this particular man was in no way comparable to her husband (your truly) who, in fact, lived on Tatooine, was Mayor of his own City (Mos Farstar), leader of his own Guild (Farstar Alliance, FSA), and had personally built every house in his city. Not just that, but she continued, that he could name every indigenous animal from the deep core to the outer rim - and most importantly, has infected our six year old son with his Star Wars fever. The radio personalities agreed that her husband, (again yours truly) was a much bigger geek than the man camping outside the theater waiting for EPIII.

My fanatical love for this online game has become for me, more than just a video game. I cancelled my premium cable channels, got rid of our home telephone (Now we just use our cellular phones) and re-budgeted our finances so I could have my five accounts. My son plays the Ithorian BE and the Wookiee MCH because he loves the animals. I play the Human Master Artisan/Tailor and the Human Novice Pistoleer because I enjoy the mixture of crafting and combat. And yes, sometimes my dear wife plays the female human Master Doctor/Master Dancer, because it just looked fun she says.

Things were all very wonderful in the universe, until the CU went live. SOE has officially told us that this is a NEW GAME. Yet, my family was so happy with the OLD game. This change has confused us and I am sad to say, disillusioned us. Sony Online Entertainment has been too quiet. The voices of multitudes still go unaddressed. We can see the haste in which this update has been thrust upon us. It is evident in the fact that the loading screen message still remains the same, (i.e., the message from Sgt. Vekker regarding the Cal Handro), when in all previous publishes/updates I recall a new loading screen highlighting some of the NEW features inside some cleaver Star Wars themed message.

Some of you will tell me to shut up and just leave or to quit bringing you down, or even to wait it out and all will be fine. Perhaps all will be fine, I am certain that things will equalize in some fashion, and I will shut up after this message, and I apologize if I brought you down, but I do believe these things need to be said. I believe them more strongly now, after having to hold my six year old son in my arms while he sobbed as he told me how much he will miss his game, (for those who may be wondering what he is referring to, I will briefly explain: He can no longer go out and collect DNA so that he can make his animals - his character is too low of a level and it is constantly being incapped and slain which he is frustrated about. It was ok before because mom's character [the Master Doc] could buff him and he could wear dad's armor {COMP} and he would be fine). So, what I need to say is this: Please Sony Online Entertainment, PLEASE tell us something that will explain this move? We need to hear from you! We need to understand. We need to hear that things will be fixed. We need to have you tell us that you are sorry for imposing a 'level' system on us, that you are sorry for our millions of credits lost in quality weapons and that you will return our game to the skill system and even give us back, if only half, those credits lost. We need to know that you value us a your loyal customers. We need to know that we matter, and that 14,000 + signatures (while true, there will be duplicates and even fake signatures) matter to you. And most importantly, we need to know that you want our gaming experience to be the most pleasurable and exciting experience it can be, for us, our friends, and our families (even if they are only 6 yrs. old and only care about the animals).

Some of the most lucid and articulate posts have already been sent, (Thank you David Madgun Nathewan Tarbell), and I know that somewhere in the myriad of complaints and disgruntled players, that someone, even one, employee of SOE has both the courage and the answers to give us - let that person come forth now!

I know deep in my heart that the CU will NOT be rolled back. The upcoming expansion is based largely upon it and that expansion MUST be released in correspondence to Star Wars EP III, but at the same time I know that the Developers are not so limited so as to be unable to restore the certain attributes that have been removed, sadly causing the spirit of our game to change so drastically as called a NEW GAME by Sony Online Entertainment Staff.

I suppose in the meantime, I will discontinue my support and patronization of SOE, and my son and I shall continue to mourn the loss of something we shared so fun as to even be called precious by my wife.

I truly feel your pain mates!!! This game was my life, I looked so forward to coming home to play this game. It was the greatest MMO out there. I cant understand why SOE would turn their backs on the customers who have been loyal since game launch. SOE, why did you do this? Dont you even care that your customers feel betrayed and are extremely upset that the game they loved is dead now? I hate the fact that I use to be able to go out and kill a spawn of voritor trackers and now I can barely solo one now. You say to us group up, but do u realize that since you have destroyed this game, so many have quit? Most of my guild is gone now!!!!!! There is hardly anyone on anymore. Friendships I have come to care for and enjoy were made through this game and now I dont get to share the experience anymore on this game. COME ON SOE!!!! PEOPLE GOT MARRIED ON THIS GAME!!!!!!! Do you not realize what this game meant for us? The sad thing is, this post here will not even be read by anyone in charge. Just like the many other posts. SOE could care less since they own so many other MMOS and basically are an empire in their own right. What was done to this game was extremely shady!!! Sure there are alot of cool things about the CU, but why not keep them and fix the things that so many have issues with? I want the old combat system back!!!!!!!!! And of course I would love to be able to solo a spawn of trackers again. The way things are now, I will never be able to finish my jedi template or any other template for that matter. GIVE US OUR GAME BACK!!!! I dont want to go to another MMO!!!!!! I want to stay here but it sucks to play a game that use to be so freaking amazing and now it makes you get all pissed off because of how things are now in the game. Listen to your loyal customers!!! We wont do you wrong!!!!

Management change and credibility is expected & deserved, and really a requirement for me to desire to log in and not have my MMORPG time completely wasted. SWG's mismanagement, ongoing, lacks credibility. I have no desire to log into my toon, attempt to accomplish something, only to find out that my blue zebra, 12th level, with 20 badges, isn't going to be turned into tomorrow's 4th tier yellow monkey, and all the zebra's stuff is no longer of value. Without credibility, its just a duck hunt game that doesn't even keep score of how many shots land on a duck.
