....on how it is good customer relations and good business practice to tell your established playerbase to kiss off and leave, in the hope that new consumers will take thier place when Revenge of the Sith opens?

In every otherindustry I know of, if you destroy your relations withyour establishedcustomer baselike you have with your playerbase, you simpley go out of business.

Tell me, why is this so different with the MMORPG industry?

This isnt a rant or a flame, this is a post by me begging for understanding.

Edit for spelling

Plus the fact that, by and large, the market for a Star Wars MMORPG customers has already filtered through and been driven off by SOE over the last two years, so if we've already been and gone, who exactly do they think is left to market to in the future? They've already burned the SW MMORPG market.

Management change and credibility is expected & deserved, and really a requirement for me to desire to log in and not have my MMORPG time completely wasted. SWG's mismanagement, ongoing, lacks credibility. I have no desire to log into my toon, attempt to accomplish something, only to find out that my blue zebra, 12th level, with 20 badges, isn't going to be turned into tomorrow's 4th tier yellow monkey, and all the zebra's stuff is no longer of value. Without credibility, its just a duck hunt game that doesn't even keep score of how many shots land on a duck.
