Thread: Lazy programmers?
Leafgreen wrote:I can't post a message with a 'style' in it. No problemo, I can deal with that. Now you try to make a post and click on the little A icon at the top. You know the one that is built in and lets you pick a font and color? Now watch in awe as you can't submit your post, because you just borked it.Spell-checker doesn't work.Forum searches rarely work - this one I can partially understand. But still... upgrade the forum server and streamline your code. Most personal websites don't even have problems like this - it's pretty simple stuff guys. Even someone that doesn't know C++ can do that.
Hey fella - dont forget - the programmers that wrote the code for SWG and JTL and the CU and ROTW have now PROGRESSED to be able to write the code that runs the forums

Doesn't matter if it's a lithium forum. I'm aware of that. SOE uses it, so it reflects badly on SOE. And you can bet that SWG has tweaked it so it's on them now.
Forgot, can't verify email address and 'remember password' don't work either.
Here's a few tidbits. You decide if the problem is with lithium, or with the mods that have undoubtably been done to it.
'Built to withstand gamers, flamers, and in the tens of thousands simultaneous page views, Lithium's customer community tools are battle tested'
'Lithium Technologies customer communities have helped companies like Dell, Sony, AT&T Wireless, Intel, Roxio, Salesforce.com and many others to develop online customer knowledge enabled customer communities'
Somehow I bet the 'remember password', email verification, ability to color your text using the COLOR BUTTON without it saying error error error and other problems don't happen on Intel's webpage.
