The communication between the development team and the player
base is atrocious, and unbecoming of any respectable business. Changes
are being made to the game, seemingly without any sense or explanation.
People are beginning to fear new publishes instead of looking forward
to them. Something needs to be done to put out the fires on the forums
and ingame. Listening to the community and providing players with
monthly reports of changes/explanations would go a long way towards
improving matters. A monthly session of developers actually answering
top 5 of each professions questions would also help.

I totally agree. SOE Customer Service SUX comparing to other Customer Services, like Blizzard.
The reason SWG is so totally full of bugs is that the Dev's do NOT communicate with the community at all. The servers are down like 24/7 instead 24/7 up like it says in all trailers.
Have you ever seen this many bugs? World of Warcraft for example is almost buggless compared to SWG.
Not to mention professions being nerfed to the ground. Jedi used to be something special, we grinded for it, it keeps getting easier to get, and it keeps getting a more normal profession. BH's used to need teams to kill one Jedi, now they can kill Jedi much more easier....
SWG Dev's for the win ....

Plus with ToOW we have to pay for another planet that gives nothing to crafters. This entire game is being balanced against the pure crafting character. Just look at the bugs reported in the forums. There was a post in the DE forums listing about 100 known bugs with the DE profession. Crafters strikes don't work because there is always someone else to craft, but that is starting to change. I only know of 3 other MDE's on the server that craft regularly, one of them is leaving now. When more start dropping crafting, I'm willing to lead a DE strike on my server. Imagine all those BH's with no droids.
