Thread: Tiggs : Can you tell the customer ANYTHING about what is going on.....

Tiggs, I understand that issues happen, I myself have had to work a few 48 hour shifts in my time getting databases back online, but... When ever I am involved with an issue every effort is made to keep the customer updated as to what when wrong, then we can understand a little about how long it will take to recover and also understand a little more of all the work you guys are putting in behind the scenes working on this. Jut a broad overview at this stage would be nice, like DB issue, hardware, infrastructure, or did the whole of Holland go bang?


From being in your position many a time before I can say it will help with the customer attitude towards this. Even the worst situations can be turned around to achievements in the customer's eyes if they know you put 101% in for them...
