I think something went really wrong with the new forum version, the text is a bit smaller now and everything looks blurred and i feel like i have to puke after reading for more then 5 minutes. I already checked my settings, but they´re still the same.

For me the new forum version runs faster (which is a huge plus!). And I actually like the new fonts, they look perfect here on my screen.

i use a 17'' TFT @ 1280*1024 at work, latest IE version, and the new fonts are really giving me a headache

i switched to the secrets of the force skin now, that seems to be better, but with the imperial skin it really starts hurting my eyes after a while

Two standart 21" CRTs with a full resolution of 3200x1600 under Gnu/Linux (X.org 6.8) with firefox on my desktop and one 12" TFT 1024x768 running Ubuntulinux and firefox, too. The Laptop uses Subpixel Smoothing (you can activate that somewhere in Windows, too, look in the Control Panel for something called "Clear Type" or similar.

Just press control + or Control - and it will increase your font size to the previous size (its one size smaller it seems)

sorry, i just woke up so maybe it's me,but i tried that but it's not working, nothing happened. maybe i'm trying from the wrong place? i tried changing my font size in my profile but that only changed the forum names and sign-up dates, it didn't change the actual text boxes of message which is what i'd like to be bigger.

Question to those who are having problems with the font, under windows are you using Cleartype for font rendering? If your not the fonts do look iffy, try it with Cleartype on and you may find the fonts are easier to read.

QFE.

It looks like turning ClearType off on my LCD (but it is on).

Garva, the Control + Mousewheel option is not acceptable, as this increases the font size for all websites and thus makes them too large. Tell lithium to get the font size back up! Also, where is the Trials of Obi-Wan skin at?

I noticed that the carriage returns using the WYSIWYG editor in posts don't work like they used to either. Where using return created a blank line in the post before, a blank line created like that will sometimes be removed when posting. A workaround is to use SHIFT+Return twice, but it's quite annoying nonetheless.

yeah i don't like that either. i prefer some space before the sig, especially on boring sigs like mine that aren't a fancy font, the space lets people know that hey, this is a sig don't read it every time or you'll go nuts from boredom.

the source button is to allow you to directly enter html code...

Code:

<A HREF=" link here "> Clik </A>

which as you can see really does not help the matter much

It can be used I think to show how signatures are made etc.

Garva, you should really try your suggestion before you post it, as your suggestion done not work. Also, by doing that increase the font size for all websites in IE, which is very annoying since this is not the only website I go to. I know, what a shocker. But hey, if you really want to impress the community, make the passwords auto-save again, now that was a great idea.

I just hit a bunch of buttons and hope everything works out.
